It gives me immense pleasure to welcome you to the Department of Diploma – Mechanical Engineering at Dnyanshree Institute. Mechanical Engineering is one of the broadest and most versatile engineering disciplines, encompassing design, manufacturing, thermal sciences, and automation. Our department is committed to producing skilled diploma engineers who are industry-ready and capable of contributing to the growing demands of the manufacturing and engineering sectors.

Our curriculum is carefully crafted to provide students with a strong foundation in core mechanical concepts combined with hands-on experience in our well-equipped laboratories and dedicated workshop. • Basic and Discipline specific knowledge: Apply knowledge of basic mathematics, science and engineering fundamentals and engineering specialization to solve the engineering problems.
• Problem analysis: Identify and analyse well-defined engineering problems using codified standard methods.
• Design/development of solutions: Design solutions for well-defined technical problems and assist with the design of systems components or processes to meet specified needs.
• Engineering Tools, Experimentation and Testing: Apply modern engineering tools and appropriate technique to conduct standard tests and measurements.

Programme Specific Outcomes (PSOs)

Graduates of Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Program will:

• Apply the knowledge of mechanical engineering principles including design, manufacturing, thermal, and fluid sciences to solve industrial problems effectively.
• Use modern tools and techniques such as CAD/CAM, CNC, and metrology instruments to perform technical tasks in the manufacturing and production environment.
• Demonstrate the ability to work as a competent technical supervisor or technician in mechanical, automobile, or related industries.
