The Dnyanshree Institute of Engineering & Technology, Satara Central Library with its state-of-the-art building, hardware, software and other resources is fast developing. The resources available include books on an impressive array of subjects, course-specific reading material, academic journals and various digital resources.In short, “Knowledge is Free of cost at the library; just bring your own Container."
DIET central library has a good collection of 18196 + volumes, 9554 + titles as well as 8810 e-books, of all engineering disciplines, including are Reference and Text books. It includes extracurricular and books such as GATE and competitive examination, Non-Technical books etc.
Integrated Library Management System is used to manage different functions of library. Institute Central Library is using as Open Source software for Automation of Library Services. Library is automated with System for Library Information Management. e- Granthalaya open source software having version 3.0. e-Granthalaya. It has also subscribed e-resources DELNET, Inventi, NDLI-National Digital Library, Shodhsindhu, ScienceOpen. total area of the Library is 409.5 Sqm. Reading room capacity of the central library is 150 Students.
